The Graf-Syteco AT3-series is a high-quality graphical HMI (human machine interface) with a built-in CANbus controller. This ruggedly built operator panel is ideal for off-highway vehicles and construction machinery, where it can be used with I/O slave modules as the basis of a low-cost CANbus system.
The HMI features a large 71mm-square LCD panel with low-power high-brightness LED backlighting. Operator input is via three pushbuttons and a potentiometer with detent. The screen features 128 x 128 pixel resolution, and can display a variety of fonts and all standard graphics file formats, such as JPEGs and TIFFs.
The AT3-series HMI is available in two basic versions: the panel-mounting AT30 fits a 130 x 95mm cutout, and the stand-alone AT31 is a fully enclosed unit that measures 139 x 104 x 44mm. All types are programmable in C via the integrated CANbus interface, and feature a powerful C167 microprocessor with up to 1.2Mbyte of Flash memory, up to 256Kbyte of SRAM and 2Kbyte of EEPROM.
The combined HMI and controller accepts a wide power input range from 10 to 32V DC, covering all common automotive battery voltages. Power consumption is low, with a typical current drain of 210mA from a 24V DC supply. The power supply input features Level II protection against automotive load dumps, and the unit is fully compliant with international EMC regulations (EN50081/2).
All AT3-series units feature front panel ingress protection to IP64, and vibration and shock resistance to IEC68-2-6, IEC68-2-27 and ISO7637. This, combined with a wide operating temperature range from -20 to +70C, ensures that this combined HMI and CANbus controller can withstand the demands of applications in off-highway vehicles and other outdoor machinery.
