The C21 digital pressure gauge from Sensor-Technik is a versatile measurement system with an integrated pressure switch. Designed specifically for applications in hydraulic systems, the C21 offers a cost-effective and easy to apply alternative to sourcing separate pressure sensors, indicators and switches.
Standard pressure ranges are from 1 to 3000bar, and special ranges can also be supplied. In all cases, the indicator can be switched to display in other engineering units such as pounds per square inch, kilograms, Newtons etc.
The indicator itself has an easy-to-read 12mm-high four-digit red LED display with automatic range change from 0.1 to 1 digit. It features a fully programmable microprocessor-based control circuit that can easily be locked out to prevent tampering after programming. The indicator unit is supplied as standard in a rugged aluminium housing, with the sensor internal or external, and optional mounting brackets.
The gauge is designed to survive high overpressure and pressure shocks, to cope with high levels of mechanical shock and vibration and to withstand the EMC levels typically found in industrial environment. The pressure sensing element is based on the latest thin-film technology, and is mounted in a high-integrity welded stainless-steel housing.
The C21 digital pressure gauge has a universal power supply for operation from 95 to 265V AC, with an option for 10-30V DC operation. The gauge supplies the necessary 24V DC power for the pressure sensor. The indicator unit is sealed to IP65, and will operate reliable at ambient temperatures from 0 to 70C. The sensor is rated for operation from -40 to +125C.
