MPP Motorised Potentiometer

Download datasheet (PDF)

The Micronor MPP is a general-purpose single-turn motorised potentiometer that is suitable for a wide variety of industrial automation and process control applications. With a choice of DC and synchronous AC motors, the MPP features a sturdy wire-wound potentiometer delivering a resistance range from 100ohm to 100kohm and is both easy to use and to set up. No logic circuitry is required, and so there is no software to write.

Operations are simply programmed using limit switches, and three different versions are available, offering three, six or nine switches, providing the ability to store up to seven programs. Each unit also includes two adjustable limit switches. The cycle time is adjustable to provide delays ranging from 10 seconds up to 2 minutes.

All three sizes of MPP single-turn motorised potentiometers are designed for speedy DIN-rail mounting, occupying just 47, 71 and 95mm of rail, respectively. Alternatively, these units can be chassis mounted.

The motor can be specified to fit the exact application. AC motors are available for 24, 48, 110 and 220V 50Hz (60Hz) supplies, and DC versions run from 24V (+/-10%) as standard, with 12V (+/-10%) available as an option for low-voltage systems.

The MPP is the workhorse of the Micronor motorised potentiometer range, and will be suitable for a large proportion of applications. Other models within the range offer multi-turn operation, with multiple cams, multiple potentiometers, wider delay ranges, high-power operation and many other options.
