The PT4000 is a universal S-type tension load cell that is available in both metric and imperial versions with capacities up to 5 tonnes. These versatile bidirectional devices are suitable for a wide range of tension and compression weighing applications from tanks, silos and cranes to materials testing. Their linear 3mV/V output and low sensitivity to axial loads also makes them suitable for retrofitting to existing mechanical weighscales to upgrade to electronic weighing.
The PT4000 is ruggedly constructed from alloy tool steel and is electroless nickel plated and sealed to IP67. A full range of mounting accessories is available, including load buttons, load sockets and rod ends, enhancing applications flexibility.
Metric threaded versions are available with capacities from 20 to 5000kg. Imperial versions have UNF threads and are offered with capacities from 50 to 20,000lb. Physical dimensions range from 63.5 x 51 x 16 to 101.6 x 76 x 33mm for metric versions and 2.5 x 2 x 0.62 to 5.9 x 4.5 x 2in for imperial types.
