Choosing Sensor-Technik UK for your CANbus system

Sensor-Technik ESX-LTplus CANbus controller

The Sensor-Technik ESX controller and its variants have been specified worldwide for use in vehicles and machinery. It’s a proven, reliable system, which is being used in engine management, 2 and 4 wheel steering, drive by wire, anti-lock braking, anti slip regulation, automatic gear shifting, and hydraulic control of mobile machinery.

Sensor-Technik UK can also provide all the relevant accessories, such as operator interfaces from specialist supplier Wachendorff, or even the complete CANbus control system and interface package from Graf-Syteco. In addition, we work closely with system integrators such as Kromberg & Schubert and Control Developments in order to be able to provide a complete system if required.

Most importantly, with Sensor-Technik UK you can specify standard, fully-approved and tested products, which will save you having to obtain many approvals yourself. Take a look at the list of approvals and tests for the ESX CANbus controller, for example.

Making the move to bus-based control is a big step, but it needn’t be a difficult one. Whether it’s fully-approved components with a track record you want, or complete system design, we’ve sorted out exactly what you need. And we’ll be with you every step of the way. We expect to help most customers through every stage of their projects. But of course, full technical specifications and data sheets are available on all our products.

You can get a good idea of the range of integrated operator panels and HMI controllers which we offer from Graf-Syteco in our data sheets section, or feel free to visit the Graf-Syteco website. We also have full technical specifications on the Wachendorff Opus Thor operator panels, or you can visit the Wachendorff website. These units interface with engines from many manufacturers using the standard J1939 format and can directly display engine information such as fuel consumption, rpm, torque, speed etc. Indeed, visualisation and PLC functions are available which are equal to those in industrial PCs.

Data sheets, brochures and even websites like this can’t really explain the full advantages of moving to CANbus control. Call me for a chat, or I’ll willingly come and visit you if appropriate, and we can discuss your project. - Morten Moller, Managing Director, Sensor-Technik UK
