The WS1 is a portable weighing scale for a wide variety of general industrial, process and logistics applications. With its large stainless-steel platform and remote LCD indicator, the WS1 can be set up in seconds, and is available in four different models with capacities of 30, 60, 150 and 300kg that between them cover a full spectrum of platform weighing tasks.
The indicator panel of the WS1 can be wall or desktop mounted, and features a large 25mm-high digital readout of the sample weight in either metric (kilograms and grams) or imperial (pounds and ounces) units. The liquid crystal display is backlit so that results can be read from a distance even in low ambient light levels. Readings are provided with 1/3000 resolution on all models, so that the 30kg-capacity WS1-30, for example, offers 10g resolution over its full-scale range.
The indicator panel also provides access to the many value-added features of the WS1, including automatic calibration, a tare function, automatic zero tracking, gross/net indication, sample counting, a hold function and the ability to adjust the gravity value. The indicator features several power-saving options, including a low power indicator and automatic power down.
The scales are fully portable, with rechargeable batteries and an AC adapter supplied. And despite the generous size of the stainless-steel weighing platform, the overall assembly is light in weight for easy relocation. For example, the two largest models, the 150kg-capacity WS1-150 and 300kg-capacity WS1-300 each have large 900 x 570mm platforms, yet weigh in at just 24.5kg.
